Watch Dogs: Legion releases updated roadmap, delays PvP modes into August
Ubisoft has slightly pushed back its roadmap, including delaying the release of Watch Dogs: Legion‘s planned PvP modes.
Update 4.5 is now set to launch on June 1st instead of late May, and Invasion and Extraction will now launch with the August update, according to a recent blog post.
Update 4.5 will include an enhancement for next-gen consoles that will let them run the game at 60 frames per second. This update is “also adding the ability for you to play with friends on the same console family; Xbox One players with Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 4 players with PlayStation 5.”
This update will also unlock Helen, the elderly woman who made a big splash when she starred in early trailers for the game, add a new Tactical Op to online, and seems to have an additional surprise in store.
The roadmap also shows that the game’s major story expansion, Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodline, is scheduled for early July, and will bring with it both Aiden Pearce and Wrench as playable characters. The Assassin’s Creed crossover is scheduled for August and will introduce Darcy, a member of the Brotherhood, to Legion.
Watch Dogs: Legion is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
