Wasteland 3 has been delayed
InXile Entertainment has announced that it is pushing back the release date of Wasteland 3 to August 28th, 2020.
The decision to push the game back from its original May release date has been made due to the “new logistical challenges” caused by the team working from home.
“As with most companies, we moved to a work-from-home environment some weeks ago, and that’s of course introduced new challenges that many of us throughout the world have been learning to manage,” studio head Brian Fargo said. “We’ve been excited to see the Wasteland 3 beta so well received, but the reality is that with these new logistical challenges our release was going to be impacted.”
Fargo added that the development team will use this extra time for “acting on beta feedback and suggestions, optimization, polishing and refinements, and making sure we have an awesome co-op experience.”
Wasteland 3 will now launch on August 28th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
