Warcraft III: Reforged beta begins this week
Blizzard has confirmed that the multiplayer beta for Warcraft III: Reforged will get underway this week.
During the beta, players will be able to play 1v1 and 2v2 matchmaking as either the humans or the orcs. The developer plans to introduce the undead and night elf races, as well as new modes “in the weeks ahead.”
Invitations to the beta will be sent out “over the coming weeks,” with the initial waves being sent to owners of the game’s Spoils of War Edition. Subsequent waves will be sent out to players who have pre-purchased the Standard Edition of the game.
The Spoils of War Edition also includes new skins for several characters, player icons and sprays for Overwatch, a Mal’ganis pet for Diablo III, console skins for StarCraft II, a mount for World of Warcraft, and a card back for Hearthstone.
Warcraft III: Reforged is in development for PC.
