Vampyr gets a boost to 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X
A surprise update has been released for Vampyr by developer Dontnod Entertainment that bumps up the game’s resolution and framerate.
Following the update, the game will now run at 60 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X with a resolution bump to 1440p. Additionally, the game has received a resolution increase to 1440p on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox Series S and 1296p on Xbox One X. However, all three of these consoles still run at 30 FPS.
The game was originally released in 2018 and follows the story of newly-turned Vampyr Dr. Jonathan Reid in London, 1918. Dr. Reid must fight between his vow to heal the flu-ravaged citizens of the city and his need to feed.
Vampyr is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and is also playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S through backward compatibility.
