Untitled Goose Game is adding co-op mode
As if one horrible goose wasn’t enough, soon there will be two. Untitled Goose Game developer House House revealed during Nintendo’s recent Indie World presentation that it’s adding a co-op mode to the game.
The two-player co-op will come in the form of a free update for all platforms on September 23rd, which is when Untitled Goose Game is also launching on Steam and Itch.
The new mode allows “two horrible geese” to play through the entire game together via local multiplayer. It does not appear as if the game is getting online multiplayer support. Player one will be the standard Emden goose, while player two appears to be a Chinese swan goose. Also, the geese can pull each other around in boxes.
Untitled Goose Game is currently available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac.
