Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection gets a PS5 release date and new trailer
Sony has announced that Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is coming to PlayStation 5 on January 28th, 2022.
This new collection bundles together Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy in a single package and features three graphics modes to choose from: Fidelity, Performance, and Performance+. Fidelity Mode runs at native 4K and targets 30 FPS, while Performance Mode targets 60 FPS. Finally, there’s Performance+ Mode which drops the resolution to 1080p in favor of up to 120 FPS gameplay.
In addition to the new graphics options, the PlayStation 5 release features faster loading times, 3D audio, and support for the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available physically and digitally for $49.99. A $10 upgrade option is also available for owners of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, or Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End & Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Digital Bundle. However, players who claimed Uncharted 4 through PlayStation Plus cannot use the upgrade option.
Players looking to grab the digital versions of Uncharted 4 or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy to upgrade in January are out of luck, as both games have been delisted from the PlayStation Store (via Resetera). The Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End & Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Digital Bundle is now the only way to buy these games digitally.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection launches January 28th, 2022, for PlayStation 5, with a PC release to follow later in 2022.
