Ubisoft+ coming to PlayStation, ‘Classics’ coming to PS Plus

Ubisoft has announced that its subscription service will make its way to PlayStation, with a pared down version available to PS Plus subscribers.

According to a blog post from the publisher, Ubisoft+ “will come to PlayStation in the future.” It’s currently available on PC, Luna, and Stadia. Ubisoft previously announced that it also plans to bring the service to Xbox.

Ubisoft also revealed a pared down version of the service, Ubisoft+ Classics, that will be available to PS Plus subscribers. Classics will launch on May 24th with 27 titles available to download, with that total growing to 50 by the end of 2022. Day 1 Classics games include Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, For Honor, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Far Cry 3 Remastered, Far Cry 4, and The Division.

However, you might want to wait if you plan on upgrading your PS Plus subscription. The new Extra and Premium tiers will include Ubisoft+ Classics games when they launch on June 13th in North America. PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers will have to pay for a Classics subscription if they want access to those games.
