Toy Soldiers HD’s Nintendo Switch release delayed
Toy Soldiers HD‘s planned August 5th release date for Nintendo Switch is no longer happening, according to Accelerate Games.
In a statement posted to Twitter, the company explained that it has been forced to delay the Nintendo Switch release due to the discovery of an issue with the game’s multiplayer mode. The issue in question caused the game not to communicate properly with the consumer version of the Nintendo Switch when in multiplayer mode.
“Our partners are collaborating with us to quickly implement a solution,” the message reads. “Collectively, we all want you to be able to enjoy the full Toy Soldiers HD experience. Whether in single or multiplayer, we want you to experience the game’s hybrid FPS tower defense gameplay.”
Toy Soldiers HD is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A new release date for the Nintendo Switch version has not been announced.
