Three ways Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 is bigger and better than the original
Some of the world’s favorite cartoon characters are back on the karting track in Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2, the sequel to Bamtang Games’ 2018 original.
Of course, it’s the work of any good sequel to improve and expand upon its predecessor, and that’s exactly what Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 looks to do. So, here’s three improvements racers will find in the game.
#1: An Expanded Roster
The biggest upgrade any kart racer can make is offering a more robust roster of characters, and Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 definitely does that. The original Nickelodeon Kart Racers featured 12 famous faces to choose from, while the sequel boasts an impressive 30 racers—once you’ve unlocked them all, that is.

#2: Your Pit Crew
In Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2, the team at Bamtang Games has included a feature that not only wasn’t in the original game, but also something not seen in most other kart racers out there.
After you’ve picked your main driver from the roster we just talked about above, you’ll then also assemble a pit crew from 70 well-known Nickelodeon characters. Each character has a unique ability that’ll help you during races. The Pit Chief’s ability is something that you can activate to give you bonuses like a speed boost or special item, and these abilities are powered by the trademark Nickelodeon green slime you’ll collect from various places on the tracks. Your regular crew members, meanwhile, will help you with passive abilities, such as helping you recover quicker after being hit by another racer’s offensive item, or dropping a Lawn Gnome after picking up an item box.
Not only does the pit crew add a new dynamic to Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2, but it also offers players an extra selection of unlockables to strive for.
#3: Online Multiplayer
Multiplayer is a must for any good kart racer, and the original Nickelodeon Kart Racers offered options for facing off against friends and family locally.
Now, in Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2, not only can up to four players race (or battle) together in the same room, but up to 8 players can challenge one another online. And, thankfully, you can match up not only with friends, but random strangers as well if you’re in need of some fresh competition.
