There won’t be a FIFA demo this year
The annual FIFA demo is not happening this year to give the development team time to deliver “the best full game experience,” EA has announced.
“We aren’t releasing a demo for FIFA 21,” the publisher revealed in a tweet. “Instead we’ve made the decision to focus our development team’s time on delivering the best full game experience for current & next-gen consoles.”
Despite there being no demo, players will still have the chance to try out the game ahead of its October release date via EA Play. As with previous years, EA Play subscribers will be able to access a 10-hour trial from October 1st and carry their progress over to the full game.
FIFA 21 is scheduled to launch October 9th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with Champions and Ultimate Edition owners being able to jump in on October 6th. The game is also in development for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
