The Witcher 3’s PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade arrives next month
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition is launching for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on December 14th, CD Projekt Red has announced.
This upgraded version of the game will feature “dozens of visual, performance, and technical enhancements over the original,” according to the developer. Players can expect ray tracing support, faster loading times, “a variety of mods integrated into the experience,” and new content inspired by Netflix’s The Witcher show.
In addition to the above upgrades, the Complete Edition includes the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions as well as all free DLCs released to date.
Owners of the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC can get the next-gen update for free.
CD Projekt Red also announced an update is in the works for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch that includes numerous additions and improvements, as well as the Netflix Witcher-themed content. A release date for this update was not announced.
