The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting an Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 upgrade
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, developer CD Projekt Red has announced.
The next-gen release has been “developed to take advantage of the most powerful gaming hardware,” according to the developer. Players can expect “a range of visual and technical improvements,” such as ray tracing support and improved load times.
All owners of the game on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC will be able to upgrade to the next-gen version for free. It will also be released as a standalone purchase on all three platforms.
A release date for this next-generation upgrade has not been announced.
