The Waker class arrives in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis
The first August update for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is now live bringing with it the new Waker class.
The Waker comes armed with the Harmonizer weapon and is able to summon three different types of Familiars to aid it in battle. The first of these, Fredran, specializes in long-ranged attacks, while Wulfen is all about getting up close and personal with enemies. The third and final Familiar, Marmelo, offers a mix of defense and counterattacks.
Also added today is a new Side Story called Favors for the Five, in which players will be learning more about various characters in the game.
Other additions include new trials with Emperappy and Great Rappy, Rank 2 versions of select Trainia, capsule exchange adjustments, and new Add-on Skills for each class. Take a look at the patch notes here.
Looking forward, Sega plans to add the Cannonball Rumble quest on August 17th and Mining Rig Defense: Kvaris on August 24th.
