The Surge 2’s Kraken expansion arrives next week
Focus Home Interactive has announced that The Surge 2’s Kraken campaign will arrive on all platforms on January 16th.
The Kraken expansion will introduce “hours of narrative-driven content,” a new location to explore, and new weapons, armor, and implants. Players must enter the VBS Krakow, a decommissioned aircraft carrier on the outskirts of Jericho City that has been retrofitted as a retreat for the rich and famous. Fight through robot pirates, security systems, and a new boss to uncover the truth about this ship.
The publisher also unveiled a Premium Edition of the game. This special edition bundles the game with all previously released DLC, including the Kraken expansion.
Both The Surge 2 Premium Edition and Kraken expansion will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC from January 16th. However, owners of The Surge 2’s season pass will get 48 hours of early access to the Kraken expansion starting January 14th.
