The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion unveiled
EA and Maxis have officially unveiled Eco Lifestyle, the next expansion for The Sims 4.
This new expansion sees Sims going green and introduces Evergreen Harbor, a new unique world where Sims have a direct impact on the state of the environment. Sims will be able to create their own electricity and water, grow their own food using the new vertical garden, decorate their homes with remade furniture, and dress in clothes made from reclaimed materials.
The expansion also introduces the Community Voting Board, which Sims can use to instigate Neighborhood Action Plans each week. These plans include installing eco-friendly objects, supporting green initiatives, and more. By taking action, players will notice changes in Evergreen Harbor, such as the water becoming clear. However, sitting idly will see trash piling up, air pollution levels rise, and more.
Finally, players will gain access to new careers for their Sims, such as the Civil Designer and Freelance Crafter.
The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle Expansion Pack launches June 5th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC for $39.99.
