The Outer Worlds getting DLC that will expand the story
Obsidian Entertainment has revealed that it is working on some DLC for its sci-fi open-world role-playing game The Outer Worlds.
In a thank you message on the developer’s forums, social media manager Shyla announced that the team will be “expanding the story through DLC next year.”
“The reception to The Outer Worlds has been unbelievable to see, and even just being nominated means a lot,” Shyla said. “However, the journey isn’t over yet as we are excited to announce that we will be expanding the story through DLC next year!”
No actual details about the DLC were shared, but the developer promised that more information will be shared “at a later date.”
The Outer Worlds is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. A Nintendo Switch version of the game is also in development and is due to release in 2020.
