The Outer Worlds gets a new Nintendo Switch release date
Private Division and Obsidian Entertainment have announced that The Outer Worlds will be coming to Nintendo Switch on June 5th.
The game was originally scheduled to arrive on Nintendo’s console in March. However, the release was pushed back due to the coronavirus impacting the team at Virtuos, the studio working on the port.
A statement on the game’s official website confirmed that the game will come on a physical cartridge, but will require a day one update “that could be up to 6 GB.” This update will “optimize gameplay, provide additional hi-res textures, and include other fixes to provide the employees of Halcyon with the best gameplay experience,” according to Obsidian.
The Outer Worlds will be available on Nintendo Switch from June 5th for $59.99 both digitally and physically.
