Saying that Japanese developer Cygames is taking its immensely popular RPG Granblue Fantasy in an entirely new direction by spinning it off into the RPG Granblue Fantasy Relink might initially seem like it doesn’t make sense, but we promise, it does. As compared to the original’s free-to-play structure and more smartphone-oriented style of gameplay, Relink promises to be a full-on epic console experience, far grander in scale and storytelling than anything seen in the series before. Taking control of either a male or female main character, you set out on a journey through the Sky Realm alone or with up to three friends as you meet a variety of new and familiar characters, engage in more action-oriented battles, and follow a mysterious trail left by your father.
