Summer Games Done Quick raises more than $2.3 million for charity
Summer Games Done Quick managed to raise more than $2.3 million for charity during the week-long event.
In total, $2,315,066.84 was raised for Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières thanks to donations from 33671 people. According to Games Done Quick, the event had more than 107,500 concurrent viewers on Twitch at its peak.
The event kicked off with an Any% run of Demon Souls and came to an end with an Any% run of Pokémon Shield. Other games included Final Fantasy VII Remake, Super Mario Odyssey, The Last of Us, and Minecraft. All of this year’s runs are available to watch over on YouTube.
Games Done Quick’s next event is Fleet Fatales on November 15th, with Awesome Games Done Quick scheduled for January 3rd, 2021.
