Summer Games Done Quick 2022 raises more than $3 million for charity
Games Done Quick’s speedrunning marathon Summer Games Done Quick has concluded.
The event, which ran from June 26th through July 3rd at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington, raised a total of $3.01 million for Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières. This was the first in-person Games Done Quick event since Awesome Games Done Quick 2020.
Summer Games Done Quick started off with a run of Shadow of the Colossus and came to an end with an Any% run of Elden Ring. Other games at the event included Final Fantasy X, Left 4 Dead 2, Borderlands 2, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and more. In total, Games Done Quick has now raised more than $40 million for various charities, including Doctors Without Borders, Prevent Cancer Foundation, Malala Fund, Organization for Autism Research, and CARE.
