Suikoden I & II HD Remaster announced for PC and consoles
Konami has announced remasters of the first two Suikoden games for PC and consoles.
Titled Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars, the collection features upgraded background illustrations, redesigned graphical effects and direction, and updated character portraits. New screen effects have also been added, such as lighting, clouds, and shadow animations.
Additionally, all battle sound effects are now in HD and new environmental sounds have been introduced, including running water, wind, insects, and footsteps.
Finally, players can expect some new features not found in the original, such as a dialogue log, an auto-battle option, and double-speed battles.
Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars is scheduled to release in 2023 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
