Sony reveals PlayStation 5 logo at CES
Sony Interactive Entertainment president and CEO Jim Ryan appeared on stage during Sony’s CES 2020 conference to reveal the official logo of the PlayStation 5.
It wasn’t quite the console reveal that we got from Microsoft during The Game Awards last month, but at least it’s something.
Ryan also went on to reiterate a number of features that its next-generation console will offer, including 3D audio, an ultra-high speed SSD, support for hardware-based ray tracing, an ultra HD Blu-Ray drive, and haptic/adaptive triggers for the DualShock 5.
In other PS5-related news, Counterplay Games revealed Godfall for the console last month. The game is due to release later this year and will mix ARPG-style loot progression with third-person melee combat.
The PlayStation 5 is scheduled to release in holiday 2020.
