Sony giving refunds for Cyberpunk 2077, pulling game from digital store
After initially granting, and then denying, refunds for Cyberpunk 2077, Sony Interactive Entertainment is now taking some major measures to deal with the game’s problems.
Now, not only is Sony fully offering refunds to those who purchased the game—and from the wording, it seems like potentially everybody who purchased the game—but they’re also pulling Cyberpunk 2077 completely from the PlayStation Store “until further notice.”
Here’s the full text of Sony’s announcement:
SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store. SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice.
Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund. Please note that completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution.
