Sons of the Forest release date pushed back
The release of Sons of the Forest has been delayed by five months, developer Endnight Games has announced.
In a message posted to Twitter, the developer revealed that the game’s release date is being moved back from May 20th to an October 2022 release window. The decision has been made to give the development team more time to deliver its “vision of the next step in survival games.”
“Over these past few weeks, we have realized that our May 2022 release date for Sons Of The Forest was overly ambitious,” the message reads. “To be able to deliver our vision of the next step in survival games, we’ve decided to move our release date to October 2022.”
The announcement was accompanied by a GIF that shows some of the new animations in the game, including eating fish and building with logs.
Sons of the Forest is now scheduled to release for PC in October 2022.
