Sherlock Holmes Chapter One gameplay shows combat, customization, more
Frogwares has shared a debut gameplay trailer for the latest entry in its Sherlock Holmes series.
Sherlock Holmes Chapter One explores the origin story of Holmes and is set in the 19th century on the Mediterranean island of Cordona. 21-year-old Sherlock has returned to the island to investigate the mystery of his mother’s death alongside his best and only friend Jon.
In the trailer below we see Sherlock hunting down clues, dealing with potential suspects, and changing up his look through customization. We also get a brief look at combat with Holmes taking on enemies using both his fists and guns. However, as previously stated by the developer, combat “only takes place where it’s justified by the story” and killing enemies “will have certain consequences.”
Sherlock Holmes Chapter One launches later this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
