Roller Champions gets a release date and new trailer
Roller Champions will finally be ready to officially launch next week on May 25th, Ubisoft has revealed.
The game sees two teams of three players facing off in an elliptical arena with the goal being to score five points before the opposing team does. Players must successfully carry the ball around a full lap of the arena to open up the goal before they can take their shot.
“Once you’ve got the fundamentals down, you can level up your game by practicing and socializing in the skatepark hub, and then using your skills in matches to execute team maneuvers and do multiple laps to increase the points each goal is worth,” Ubisoft adds. “Teamwork, dedication, and daring are your keys to progressing from your scrappy beginnings through bigger stadiums and tougher competition all the way to the Elite Champions’ league.”
The game will launch with a Roller Pass that rewards helmets, gloves, outfits, skates, poses, goal FX, emotes, and other cosmetic items by progressing through it. A premium version of the pass will also be available to purchase that contains exclusive items.
Roller Champions launches May 25th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through the Ubisoft Store.
