Rocksmith+ release date confirmed
Ubisoft has revealed that its music-learning subscription service, Rocksmith+, will be available on Windows PC starting September 6th.
The service features more than 5,000 songs spanning multiple genres from artists such as The Clash, Juan Gabriel, Eurythmics, Cake, Muddy Waters, Natalia Lafourcade, Alicia Keys, Boston, and more. New songs will be added each week after launch.
“Rocksmith+ gives you access to the Rocksmith guitar-learning method, which is built on 10 years of successful music teaching experience and has helped over 5 million people learn to play guitar,” Ubisoft explained in a blog post. “Take advantage of features like real-time feedback, which continuously tracks and analyzes your performance while providing instant recommendations, and a suite of practice tools that you control, such as Riff Repeater, Adaptive Difficulty, and more.”
Players can connect any electric, acoustic, or bass guitar to their PC using the Rocksmith Real Tone Cable, which is sold separately, or via the free Rocksmith+ Connect app on mobile.
Rocksmith+ will be available in 1-month, 3-month, or 12-month subscription options. Players who have played Rocksmith before or took part in the Rocksmith+ PC beta test can get one month free when subscribing for three months, or three months free when subscribing for a year.
