Rocket League getting a ‘big update’ and an anniversary event this summer
Rocket League players have some things to look forward to this summer, according to developer Psyonix.
To start with, the game’s Fifth Anniversary in-game event is due to get underway at the end of this month. During the two-week event, there will be limited-time modes available and new Rocket League- and Psyonix-themed items in the event store. More information about the available modes will be shared “in the next few weeks.”
A “big update” is also on the way later this summer, but the developer is keeping quiet about it for now.
Finally, Psyonix announced that it will be revealing a new Item Series next week and releasing a small update later today to prepare for the upcoming anniversary event.
Rocket League is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
