Resident Evil Village is getting DLC

During Capcom’s E3 2021 livestream, Resident Evil Village producer Tsuyoshi Kanda revealed two small pieces of information about the game’s future.

First, Kanda confirmed that Village, will be getting DLC. There’s still no word on what that DLC will be, and the new content has only just begun development, so it may be a bit before we hear more. Capcom did say the DLC is coming “by popular demand,” though, so we can hope that means Vampire Mommy™ Lady Dimitrescu will feature in it.

Second, Kanda announced that Resident Evil RE:Verse, the competitive multiplayer title that’ll be free to anyone who purchases Village, will go live sometime in July. No exact date yet, though.

Resident Evil Village is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Google Stadia. Re:Verse will be on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (though playable through backward compatibility on the new consoles. For more on Village, check out our review.
