Resident Evil 3 has shipped more than 2 million units in first five days
Capcom has announced that it has shipped more than 2 million units of Resident Evil 3 in the first five days since the remake launched.
This is slightly down on Resident Evil 2’s remake, which managed to reach 3 million units shipped worldwide in the same amount of time. Resident Evil 2 has gone on to ship 6.5 million units worldwide, according to Capcom.
The remake features high-definition graphics thanks to the RE Engine and modernized gameplay mechanics. In addition, the multiplayer spinoff Resident Evil Resistance is included, in which four players attempt to escape an area while a fifth player tries to stop them.
Resident Evil 3 is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
