Red Dead Online players can get double XP in Free Roam Missions and Events this week
Red Dead Online players can now get double XP, free fast travel, and more for a limited time, Rockstar has revealed.
This week, Free Roam Events and Free Roam Missions are awarding double XP. Additionally, players in a posse will get an additional 40 percent bonus to RDO$ and XP payouts on top of the usual 10 percent from Free Roam Missions.
Rockstar is also handing out some bonuses to players who rank up this week. Gaining one rank before April 19th rewards the Bluewater Marsh Treasure Map, three ranks gets the North Ridgewood Treasure Map and a free Ability Card, and gaining six ranks will grant the Lake Isabella Treasure Map, two free Ability Cards, and RDO$150.
Continuing with the generosity, Rockstar has removed the fee from all Fast Travel this week and all Barbers are offering hair, makeup, and cosmetic dentistry services for free for the next seven days.
Moving onto this week’s discounts. Rockstar has knocked 30 percent off the price of all shotguns, repeaters, gun belts, pants, skirts, and boots for the next week. Stable Slots, Horse Tonics, Horse Food, and War and Workhorse breeds are also discounted by 40 percent.
Finally, all players who choose to link their Prime Gaming and Rockstar Games Social Club accounts before May 10th will receive a free Varmint Rifle, 30 percent off the Hunting Wagon, and 50 free Trader Goods.
