Pumpkin Ball arrives in Gears 5
The Coalition is celebrating Halloween in Gears 5 by bringing back the Pumpkin Ball mode from Gears of War 4.
Pumpkin Ball is a variation of Dodgeball in which players who are DBNO (Down But Not Out), will revive themselves almost instantly. The only way to make sure they don’t get up is to aim for the head. To help with this, every player will have a giant pumpkin on their head.
Players who manage to complete 13 matches of Pumpkin Ball before the event ends will be rewarded with the Frankenstein Imago skin.
The Coalition also revealed that The Mad Man’s Monsters Horde Event will go live next Tuesday alongside 13 new earnable Jack-O-Lantern weapon skins.
Gears 5 is available now on Xbox One and PC.
