PUBG console update brings back Paramo, adds Emergency Pickup system
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds players on console can now jump back into the Paramo map with the release of update 11.1.
The Paramo map was removed from the game at the end of Season 9, but is now back with terrain improvements, additional field cover, and increased spawn rates for the Secret Room and Care Package Helicopter.
Joining the return of Paramo is the new Emergency Pickup system. Using this new addition, players can deploy a Fulton Balloon and attach themselves to it for a ride. Once inflated, the balloon will be picked up by a plane that will carry players to the center of the safe zone. The system cannot be used before the first circle appears or after the fourth circle.
This update also includes a new ranked season, Mastery Medals, a PUBG ID revamp, UI improvements, and more. Read the full patch notes here.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
