Port Royale 4 is getting a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade
Kalypso Media has announced that Port Royale 4 will receive a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade in September.
The upgrade will bump the resolution on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X to 4K (1080p on Xbox Series S) and introduce support for cross-gen saves. Players can also expect real-time cloud rendering and enhanced lighting and weather simulation. Get a quick look at the upgraded release below:
Owners of the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to upgrade to this new release for free.
Port Royale 4 is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions are due to release on September 10th.
