Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer reveals four-player co-op, release date, and more
As promised, the Pokémon Company has debuted a new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
This latest trailer reveals that the upcoming mainline entries in the series will feature co-op, which allows up to four players to explore the world together.
“Along with series staples, such as trading and battling Pokémon, you will be able to explore the various locations of the region in these games with other players,” the official website explains. “You can discover new Pokémon and explore unfamiliar areas with your friends and family, opening the door to an adventure more precious and fun than ever!”
We are also introduced to the two professors who will be guiding players on their journey. Depending on which version of the game is being played, players will meet either Professor Sada or Professor Turo.
Finally, the trailer featured a few more Pokémon that players will come across during their journey, including the mouse Pokémon Pawmi, the hog Pokémon Lechonk, and the olive Pokémon Smoliv, as well as new legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are scheduled to release on November 18th for Nintendo Switch.
