The Pokémon Company has announced the start of Ranked Battles Season 2 in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
This season runs through January 31st and will follow the same Series 1 regulations as Season 1 did. During this season, players can use Pokémon in the Paldea Pokédex from No. 001–375 and 388–392, which basically bans Paradox Pokémon.
By taking part in Season 2, players can earn the following rewards based on their highest rank achieved:

- Ability Patch ×1
- 100,000 League Points
Ultra Ball Tier
- PP Up ×1
- Gold Bottle Cap ×1

Great Ball Tier
- TM171 (Tera Blast) ×1
- Bottle Cap ×1
- Ability Capsule ×1
- 30,000 League Points
Poké Ball Tier

Beginner Tier
- 5,000 League Points
