PlayStation’s Days of Play returns next week
Sony has announced that its celebration event Days of Play will be returning next week starting May 18th.
Days of Play kicks off with a PlayStation Player Celebration that gives players the chance to earn some PSN avatars and PlayStation 4 themes by completing challenges. To begin, sign up for the event here and then start playing games and earning trophies on May 18th.
To obtain the rewards, the community must play a target number of PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 games each week of the event and earn a target number of trophies each week. If players manage to complete this first set of goals, then a bonus set of goals will be revealed. The rewards on offer include 16 exclusive PSN avatars and two dynamic themes.
In addition, players who participate every week of the event will get an extra avatar and theme if all goals are met. Find out more about the goals and prizes over on the PlayStation Blog.
The Days of Play event will also feature a free online multiplayer weekend for PlayStation owners without a PlayStation Plus subscription and a Celebration Sale with discounts on PS4/PS5 games and other select products. The exact start dates for the sale and free weekend have not been confirmed.
