PlayStation VR2 release date confirmed
Sony has revealed that its next-generation virtual reality headset will be available from February 22nd, 2023 alongside the PlayStation VR2 Sense controller and charging station.
As for the price, players are going to have to part with $549.99 for the headset, controllers, and stereo headphones.
A Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle will also be available on the same day for $599.99. This bundle contains a digital copy of Horizon Call of the Mountain, the PS VR2 headset, PS VR2 Sense controllers, and stereo headphones.
In addition to the above, players can pick up the official charging station for the Sense controller for $49.99.
Pre-orders for PS VR2 are due to open on November 15th. Players in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg can only pre-order through PlayStation’s online store.
“Orders from direct.playstation.com for PlayStation VR2 headsets and bundles will ship throughout the week of launch,” Sony notes.
The PlayStation VR2 features a 110-degree field of view, an OLED display, support for frame rates of 90/120hz, and a display resolution of 2000×2040 per eye.
