PlayStation Store’s top downloads for May revealed

Sony has revealed the most downloaded PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, and free-to-play titles from the PlayStation Store in May.

Beginning with PlayStation 5, Capcom’s Resident Evil Village jumped to the top of the charts, with Returnal climbing one place to second and last month’s chart-topper MLB The Show 21 dropping to third. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and NBA 2K21 both climbed back up the chart to grab fourth and fifth, respectively.

While over on PlayStation 4, three new entries make up the top three with debuting survival game Rust Console Edition at number one, Resident Evil Village at two, and Mass Effect Legendary Edition following in third.

Finally, Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite, and Rocket League hold their places in the Free-to-Play chart, with Genshin Impact knocking Apex Legends down to fifth spot.
