PlayStation Store top downloads of 2022 revealed

Sony has revealed the most downloaded PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, and free-to-play titles from the PlayStation Store across the entirety of last year.

On PlayStation 5, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 claims the title of most-downloaded in 2022 for the U.S. and Canada, with FIFA 23 taking the honor in Europe. Both God of War Ragnarök and Elden Ring managed to claim spots in the top five in each territory.

Things are exactly the same at the very top on PlayStation 4. However, Grand Theft Auto V sits in second place in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Minecraft, Red Dead Redemption 2, Among Us, and Elden Ring also make appearances in the top ten.

Finally, Fall Guys, which only made the switch to free-to-play last year, is the most downloaded game in the Free-to-Play chart across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Check out the top 10 games in each chart below:
