PlayStation Store top downloads for December revealed

Sony has revealed the most downloaded PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, and free-to-play titles from the PlayStation Store during the month of December.

On PlayStation 5, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II reclaimed its top spot in the U.S. and Canada with FIFA 23 jumping into second. While over in Europe, things are reversed, with FIFA 23 sitting at the top of the pile. Last month’s chart-topper God of War Ragnarök drops to seventh.

While over on PlayStation 4, the story is exactly the same. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and FIFA 23 share the honors across the U.S./Canada and Europe charts. Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto V also find themselves in the top five.

Finally, Fortnite moved back into the top spot in the Free-to-Play chart for the U.S. and Canada, with Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 retaining its position in Europe. Take a look at the top 10 titles in each chart below:
