PlayStation Plus Collection to bring classic PS4 games to the PS5
PlayStation has revealed the PS Plus Collection, a new benefit to PS Plus subscribers that is bringing classic PS4 games to the PS5.
The games shown to be included in the PS Plus Collection were God of War, Monster Hunter: World, Final Fantasy XV, Fallout 4, Mortal Kombat X, Uncharted 4, Ratchet & Clank, Days Gone, Until Dawn, Detroit: Become Human, Battlefield 1, Infamous: Second Son, Batman: Arkham Knight, The Last Guardian, The Last of Us Remastered, Persona 5, and Resident Evil 7. Not too shabby.
These games will all be available to download onto the PS5 when it launches on November 12th.
What’s unclear is whether PlayStation plans to add any games to this collection, of if this is just a set number of games that players will have access to in the early days of the next-gen console’s life cycle, to hold them over until more new games arrive.
In other news, PlayStation finally revealed the PS5’s pricing and release date, and it’s… pretty much what everyone who’s been paying attention to the rumors expected, with the digital edition coming in at $100 less than the standard version of the console.
