PlayStation Now will be available on PlayStation 5
Yasuhiro Osaki, a member of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Network division, confirmed in a recent interview with Famitsu magazine (via DualShockers) that the PlayStation 5 will include support for PlayStation Now.
Sony’s subscription service is priced at $9.99 a month or $59.99 for a year and grants access to hundreds of PlayStation games that can either be streamed or downloaded.
Earlier this month, Sony announced an overhaul for the service with a price reduction and the introduction of limited-time games. Each month, a new selection of “marquee” titles will be added to PlayStation Now. The first set, which is available now, includes God of War, Grand Theft Auto V, inFamous Second Son, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
In other news, SIE President and CEO Jim Ryan recently revealed a couple of features that the PlayStation 5’s controller will include.
PlayStation 5 is scheduled to launch in holiday 2020.
