PlayStation 4 system software update 7.50 now available
Sony has released a new system software update for PlayStation 4 that takes the console up to version 7.50.
Players expecting anything interesting in this latest update are going to be disappointed, as it simply “improves system performance,” according to the single patch note. The update should automatically begin downloading the next time the console is powered on and is 471 MB in size.
The last major update for PlayStation 4 was released in October of last year and introduced 16-player parties, audio quality improvements, and chat transcriptions.
In other news, Sony recently announced that it is giving away Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey on PlayStation 4 as part of its Play At Home initiative.
