PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Taego map arrives on console
Following its release on PC last week, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds‘ newest map, Taego, is now available on PlayStation and Xbox.
This new 8×8 map supports up to 100 players and introduces a new exclusive second-chance mechanic. Players who die during the first Blue Zone will be transported to the Comeback Arena and must survive long enough to be transported by helicopter back into the fight during the third Blue Zone.
Another new addition that is exclusive to Taego is the Self AED. This second-chance mechanic can be looted in the world and allows players to revive themselves from the DBNO (Down, But Not Out), in both Solo and Squad matches.
Today’s update also introduces the K2 assault rifle, Mk12 DMR, Pony Coupe vehicle, and a new Survival Pass full of rewards. Read the full patch notes here.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
