Play Borderlands Game of the Year Edition for free on Xbox
Microsoft has announced that Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download and play Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition for free this weekend as part of its Free Play Days program.
From July 18th through July 21st Gold members can head to the Gold member area on the dashboard to download the game for free.
All progress made and achievements earned during this free trial can be carried over to the full game, if players choose to purchase it. To help with that decision, Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition will be discounted by 50 percent during the free trial period.
The Game of the Year Edition includes all four DLC packs, new weapons, new character heads, and upgraded visuals.
