Play Borderlands 3 for free this weekend
Gearbox Software has announced that Borderlands 3 will be free to play for a limited time on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this weekend.
From today, November 21st, until November 24th, players on both platforms can download and play the game with no restrictions. All progress made during the free trial will carry over to the full game, if players choose to purchase it.
Yesterday, Gearbox unveiled Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, the first campaign DLC for Borderlands 3. The DLC is due to release on December 19th and sees players raiding a now-abandoned casino that was owned by Handsome Jack to get Eridium, cash, and legendary loot.
In other news, a new update is due to release for the game very soon that will introduce the Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite endgame content, Mayhem Mode 4, and a number of quality-of-life features.
Borderlands 3 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
