Planet Coaster: Console Edition launches November
Frontier Developments has announced that Planet Coaster: Console Edition will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 from November 10th, 2020. While PlayStation 5 players will be able to play from November 12th in the U.S. and November 19th in Europe.
Players who purchase a digital copy of the game on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 will be able to upgrade to the respective next-gen version for free. Physical copies can also be upgraded on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 by inserting the disc. However, upgrades are not supported for physical copies on the Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition due to them not having disc drives.
The developer also revealed that a Deluxe Edition of the game is available as a digital exclusive for $59.99. The Deluxe Edition contains the Magnificent Rides Collection and Classic Rides Collection which add 18 new rides and coasters to the game. Additionally, players who preorder either edition of the game will receive Oswald’s Magnificent Machine.
