Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is adding support for Nvidia DLSS
Sega has revealed that it is introducing support for Nvidia’s DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology into Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis next month.
This technology lets players run the game at a lower resolution and then upscale it to the desired resolution with little to no difference in visual quality, which results in a performance increase. Check out a brief comparison that shows an average increase of around 20 FPS in the trailer below:
Also coming to the game in February is a new Urgent Quest, a level cap increase, high ranking sectors for Aelio, and the Arks ID and Music Disc Mag features. Looking forward further, Sega is planning to add Urgent Quest Triggers in March, another level cap increase and an Urgent Quest in April, new Photon Arts in May, and the game’s second major update in June.
Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is available now on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
