Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis adding Braver class next week
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is getting some new content next week with the release of the Braver class and an additional Side Story.
The newest class uses both a Katana and Photon Bow, which makes it useful for long-range and close-quarters combat. While using the Katana, Braver can access a PA Combo which has “three levels of action changes” when using the same Photon Art multiple times in succession. Also launching alongside Braver is a new Astute Braver SG Scratch Ticket, the Sunshine Marine Stars AC Scratch Ticket, the option to hide the MAG Device, and a new Side Story featuring Aina. All of this content will be available in the game starting August 4th.
Then, on August 18th, the Mining Rig Defense Urgent Quest will be introduced. Up to eight players will need to work together to defend three mining rigs from multiple waves of enemies. The rewards on offer include a new set of Evolcoat weapons for each class.
